Photography is an investment! But trust me when I say that the photos I deliver mean just as much to me as they do to you. With that said, I know I might not be the right photographer for everyone and that's okay! While we figure that out, I am here for you, so please reach out if you have any questions or want to talk more about what I am currently offering and what I might be able to do for you!
How do you photograph?
My hope is to capture what is true by taking a step back and capturing moments that reveal this. This may sound intimidating, but my goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that you trust that I will deliver honest pictures that bring you back to true emotions and not forced representations.
With that said though, I am always open to ideas and inspiration pictures you may have, but I'd like to take general ideas from these and try and capture them in a way that makes sense to who you are. This approach may look different depending on the type of shoot, but in general, you can expect a more relaxed session without direct posing.
Upon inquiring I can explain this approach in more detail so you feel prepared for the shoot, but please reach out with any questions you may have.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in the suburbs of Chicago, and have traveled for weddings! I am not necessarily a "travel photographer" so my availability may be limited, but if you are outside my area, I'd still love to see what I can do for you!!
*Depending on how much travel is required for the shoot, there may be a travel fee, but this will be spelled out before booking.
When will we get our photos?
Depending on the type of shoot and the amount of hours you hire me for will determine how long it will take to get your photos. Generally you can expect your photos back in 2-3 weeks with the exception of weddings. I always want to get your photos back to you as soon as possible (I'm just as anxious as you are!!), but I also want to make sure to edit each of them with care, so I allow myself to have enough time to ensure that I can give the photos my best attention.
How many pictures will we receive?
This will also depend on the type and length of shoot. I don't like to give a specific number because every shoot is different which might result in different amounts of photos delivered, but I will never withhold any photos that I think you should have.
